UPCATET 2025 Online Application

The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is a state-level examination conducted annually for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate agriculture programs in Uttar Pradesh. The UPCATET 2025 online application process is scheduled to commence in the third week of March 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Domicile: Candidates should be residents of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Undergraduate Programs: Completion of 10+2 with relevant subjects.
    • Postgraduate Programs: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.

Application Process

The application process comprises four main steps:

1. New Registration

  • Visit the official UPCATET website.
  • Click on the “New Registration” link.
  • Provide basic details such as name, mobile number, email, category, selected course, and previous educational qualifications.
  • Submit the information to receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP to confirm registration.

2. Filling the Application Form

  • Log in using the registration number and password.
  • Complete the application form with personal and academic details.
  • Select the preferred exam center and course.
  • Upload scanned images of the required documents.

3. Application Fee Payment

  • Pay the application fee online using Debit Card/Internet Banking.
  • Fee details:
    • General Category: INR 1250
    • Reserved Category: INR 1050
  • Upon successful payment, a confirmation message will be sent via SMS.

4. Print Application Form

  • After fee payment, a confirmation page will be displayed.
  • Print this page for future reference.
  • There is no need to send the printed application form to the authorities.

  • Photograph: Recent passport-sized color photo (maximum 40 KB in JPG format).
  • Signature: Scanned signature (maximum 40 KB in JPG format).
  • Right-Hand Thumb Impression: Scanned image (maximum 40 KB in JPG format).
  • Reservation Certificate (if applicable): Scanned copy (maximum 200 KB in JPG format).
  • Sports Certificate (if applicable): Scanned copy (maximum 200 KB in JPG format).
  • Aadhaar Card: Scanned copy.
